Decline in E-mail Use

From TechCrunch, ComScore tells us something we could all have guessed - teens use email less and less.

More interesting info in the graphic below is that all age groups below 55 years old are showing a decline in email usage.

What about you?

Chris, if I understand what many tech writers and thinkers are saying, it is moving more to texting. I know my 22 yr old sees communicating as a several layered thing. Facebook is the least personal, but where he keeps up with most, followed by texts. He averages 100's of yet a day. Next is email - which he sees as mostly work related. Last resort is a phone because it is seen as an intrusive interruption. He says people better have a real good reason to call him.
