iPhone for Games, iPad Not so Much

The Business Insider has an informative post about the differences in the way iPhones and iPads are being used based on the download of apps.

Does this difference surprise you?

Duke, I think that the user's of the IPad view their purchase more as a productivity device than an entertainment/communications device and the sales reflect it.
Just my thoughts; what are yours?

Chris, I use mine mostly for reading books. My daughter uses it t play sudoku. My son uses it to play games.

I find it too limited by Apple for real use as a productivity tool for the many software as a service tools I use. Wish that was not so. I hope the non Apple entry into this area are better at that because I love the touch screen interface and the always on speed.
